Alejandro Frid

Alejandro Frid is an ecologist who collaborates with Indigenous Peoples on the pairing of Indigenous knowledge systems and Western science to advance marine conservation. His broader research experience includes studies of endangered deer in southern Chile and theoretical and field studies of predator-prey behavioral interactions. His books include A World for My Daughter: An Ecologist’s Search for Optimism.
